1. Who we are
chainCheck is operated by Witty Inventions Digital LLC ("we", "us"), Raleigh, North Carolina. chainCheck is a blockchain-verified AI governance and compliance documentation platform. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
2. Information we collect
Account and organization data you provide (name, work email, company, role); the governance records you create (AI systems, assessments, approvals, incidents, policies, vendors, documents); usage and activity logs (actions, timestamps, IP address); and authentication data managed by our infrastructure provider. We do not sell personal information.
3. How we use it
To provide the service, operate the governance workflows, send transactional and notification emails you have enabled, secure the platform, and meet our legal obligations. Notification preferences are configurable per user in Settings.
4. Blockchain verification
When you anchor a record, a cryptographic hash (not the record contents) is written to the public Polygon blockchain to prove the record existed in that exact form at that time. The hash is irreversible and cannot be used to reconstruct your data. On-chain entries are public and permanent by design and cannot be deleted.
5. Sub-processors
We use infrastructure sub-processors for database/auth/storage, transactional email, payment processing, and blockchain RPC access. Each is engaged under data-processing terms. A current list is available to customers on request.
6. Data retention & security
Governance records are retained for the life of your account and are not deleted when a subscription ends, consistent with the product's audit-trail purpose. Access is restricted by role-based controls and row-level security. You may request export or deletion of account personal data subject to legal and contractual retention requirements.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data. Contact privacy@chainopus.pro to exercise them.
8. Changes
We will post material changes to this policy here and, where appropriate, notify account administrators.
